The story behind JamCrew
JamCrew started where all good tools start: frustration. Spreadsheets for schedules, group texts for updates, and a shared drive full of outdated contact lists. The live events industry deserved better, so we built it.
Our Mission
Build tools that respect the people who make live events happen. Warm, direct, crew-first.
Every feature we ship gets measured against one question: does this make a crew member's day easier? If the answer is no, it does not ship. We are not building enterprise software with a friendly coat of paint. We are building something that understands what it is like to load in at 6am and strike at midnight.

The people behind the platform

Made by Jam Studios
3+ years in the making
Jo and Mario are an Atlanta-based photo and video duo who built Made by Jam Studios. Jo started as a photographer doing senior sessions. Mario came from corporate production videography. Together they run live events and saw firsthand how broken crew coordination was.
The name comes from Jo's grandfather, who used to say "that's jam up!" whenever something was done right. It stuck. Made by Jam became their shorthand for work that meets a standard.
JamCrew is the tool they wished existed. Built from real production workflows, not assumptions about how events should work.
Our Values
What we stand for
Crew-first
Every decision starts with the people on the ground. If it does not make a crew member's day easier, we rethink it.
Craft over polish
We would rather ship something that works brilliantly than something that looks pretty but breaks under pressure.
Warmth
Software can feel human. We write like a trusted colleague, design for real workflows, and never hide behind corporate language.
Direct
Say what needs saying. Short sentences, active voice, no filler. Your crew does not have time to decode jargon.
