Why every version stays online
A legal document only means something if you can tell which words you agreed to. So each version gets its own permanent address, and once we publish one, its text is frozen. We cannot quietly edit it later. Changing the words means publishing a new version, and the old one stays exactly where it was.
Every version is fingerprinted, and our build refuses to ship if a published version's text no longer matches its fingerprint. When you accept the Terms, we record which version and which fingerprint you saw, so a disagreement about what you agreed to can be settled by reading it rather than by arguing about it.
Older versions are reachable at their own addresses, including documents we have since merged into others. Nothing we have published disappears. If you need a version you cannot find, email privacy@jamcrew.io and we will send it.
